Bio

Howdy! My name is Brandon Apodaca. I received my BS in engineering from Harvey Mudd College in 2021, where I was a De Pietro Fellow and participated in Dam-based impulse response research with Professor Durón. I am a PhD candidate in the Robotics program at the University of Michigan advised by Dr. Leia Stirling and Dr. Ella Atkins. My dissertation research includes motion planning for free-flying space robots, trajectory generation, and human-robot interaction. In my free time I compete in cross-country, track, and triathlon races, play jazz piano, and work on home improvement projects.
